Arrive: Glen Coe 27th June
Depart: Glen Coe 2nd July
Sometimes people say that too much of a good thing can be bad for you.
Well, here's testing that theory! This week's activities are for those
of you keen on scrambling up long mountain routes that sustain interest
and adventure right to the very top. And what better place to stage
such a trip, than the gnarly mountains of Glen Coe?
This week's itinerary includes a choice selection of the region's finest
adventures with the Aonach Eagach Ridge, (think Crib Goch and triple
it), Curved Ridge - a wonderful grade 3 scramble winding its way up
the picturesque Buachaille Etive Moor and then the piece de resistance:
Tower Ridge! This must be the best route open to the budding mountaineer
attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Britain's highest peak.

Level of Fitness
This will be a demanding week on the hill, covering considerable distance
and height on three of the days at least. You will require a reasonable
level of fitness if you are going to get the most out of this week.
Do consider exercising regularly each week to develop your cardiovascular

take a pack and do some camping. As a rule of thumb, if you can comfortably
walk 12 miles - then you should be fine on this trip.
