This is an introductory course to rock climbing, the rock climbing school
for the new-comer: everything from tying in to a harness and belaying,
to a variety of techniques to help you on your way up the rock face.

Having learned the basics and honed your skills some more, this course
is designed to primarily teach you how to lead on natural protection
and set up belays and stances. This course may be of particular interest
for those proficient at the local indoor climbing wall now itching to
get outdoors - and quite right too! Nothing beats the real thing
two days of lead climbing covering the following:

. Belaying the leader
. Rigging a stance

The Twilight Zone
This one day course will teach you how to rig an anchor point so that
you may enjoy safely top rope climbing outdoors. It is a technical course
more than a climbing course and will be of great benefit to graduates
of the Rock 1 course who wish to progress further. But also for graduates
of Rock 2 who think their skills may be a little rusty, this will be
the perfect recap.

Cost per person : £50 (plus £45
for a second day of supervised climbing on the crag (optional)).
