"Thanks for a fantastic day on Saturday, I really feel as if I've made some big changes in my life. You were both very patient when things weren't quite going to plan but we got there in the end." Neil H.
"I want to thank you again for an excellent weekend. I actually had quite a lump in my throat on Sunday evening on thinking that I wouldn't see that group again, as we'd all been through a unique and powerful experience. I think yours and Brian's course is brilliant and on Sunday in particular I felt full of confidence and now can't wait to do more . . ." Stephen N.
Totally natural – but so frustratingly inhibiting is this affliction that so many of us suffer. This course is unique: it combines two excellent approaches to enable you to regain control of your emotions from your phobias. Specialist in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Brian McHugh (visit Brian's website at www.seechanges.co.uk) combines forces with the outdoor expertise of Will4Adventure in providing this truly unique and exclusive course to tackle your fears.
You know this scenario …
You’re on the hill with some friends – so far so good – “nothing to worry about” they tell you. Then why is it that all of a sudden you find yourself super-glued to that simple section of rock linking you to the next grassy plateau just a few feet above? Despite the ease with which all others manage this, enjoyment is quickly replaced by some far-fetched movie playing through your mind in which you’re the lead actor about to be driven to the depths of your doom.
Does this situation sound familiar? Maybe it’s not on a rock face, or steep hill – maybe your whole life is dominated by avoiding all such situations … do you circumnavigate all the stations on the London Underground that have high escalators? Will you not cross a high footbridge? Do your children get on the London Eye, climb the Eifel Tower or whatever … while you stand alone, locked to the ground, waiting in trepidation and feeling self-anger that you can not be sharing these experiences with your family? Worse, maybe you’re programming them with the same script – frame by frame …
A short video from a recent course:
It’s high time to face that demon: how do we do it? This is a gradual process and it does not force you to do anything you don’t want to.
The course begins with an indoor session looking at why you are scared of heights and at re-writing the film script that runs through your mind each time you are faced with the scenario. To overcome your acrophobia, (fear of heights), you need to program your unconscious mind with a healthy level of wariness and then use that wariness to replace your irrational terror. This first stage uses the hugely successful process of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
Anyone else running this therapy would end the treatment there. Thank you very much and good luck …
Not with us – this is just the beginning and this is why our course is unique. Following this first stage we now head outdoors and start again: this time using a practical approach of phased exercises we develop your trust and confidence in your leader, your equipment, your skills and then … in yourself.
