Well Done to all who took part, and big congratulations to the twenty people (yes that's right!) who completed the course; a record for Challenge4Charity. You can see some photos from the day here [click me] now. We'll be updating this page for next year's event very soon, so get those walking boots re-soled and contact me for more info!
A few of your messages . . .
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say how much I enjoyed Saturday, ignoring achy legs and blisters, and how much I appreciate the organisation that must have gone into it! You even booked the best weather. Val
Dear Philippa, Will and all the others who donated their weekend, thank you for shepherding us, feeding us and bullying us. It was greatly appreciated. I am happy I did it despite that my feet will never be the same again. Liba
Thanks for another great Challenge for Charity event... That is the
last one EVER EVER that I am going to do - and yes I do mean it. Next year
I will be a support driver, in fact anything other than a mad walker. Peter
I am writing to thank you yourself, Philippa and all of the people involved in the 50 mile charity walk on Saturday. They were absolutely fantastic and their continual support throughout made all of the difference between me taking the easier option of giving up, and finishing. Chuck

The British Heart Foundation are hugely grateful to you for your efforts. The money being raised by this year's event will pay for resuscitation machines that can be issued to the likes of park rangers and those that work outdoors thus enabling them to carry out essential life saving drills before even a paramedic has had the chance to get to the casualty.
Well done and thanks for your efforts once again.
