Join Us for Your Adventure Outline plan Saturday – join us for the original Will4Adventure Adventure Walk. Starting from Edale we’ll be setting our sights on the Peak District’s biggest hill – Kinder Scout! But we won’t be ascending this with a hard slog up the footpath but rather by sampling the delights offered by boulder hopping, bouldering and scrambling up Crowden Clough. Once on the top we’ll go in search of an aircraft wreck dating back to WWII. Distance covered will be around 10 miles. Beware – it will be muddy and boggy on the tops – so boots will be necessary. Saturday night will be spent in a local pub – full of character and a great place to sample the local ales and to have dinner. Sunday – We spend the morning circulating through a rotation of activities – a rock climb, a 50 foot abseil and a GPS guided treasure hunt. The weekend adventure should be finished by lunch time. Dates:
Price: £50 per person for two days Private bookings can be taken for this event. Contact us with your preferred date(s) that suit you and the numbers and we'll get back to you asap with all the details. What equipment will I need? These weekends are designed to appeal to the novice as far as is possible and so they should be as accessible to as many people as possible. For that reason kit requirements are kept to the minimum and often we’ll be able to lend you stuff for no charge. The time of year can impact on what’s needed. So in the summer months, shorts and t-shirt with a pair of trainers could be fine. In the winter months warmer clothes, robust wet weather kit and boots are more important – plus also a torch maybe! Once you book your place a full kit list will be included with the details we send you.
